Audley Harrison: Usyk’s legacy not worthy of Lennox comparison

In an exclusive interview with FastestPayoutOnlineCasino.com , Olympic gold medallist Audley Harrison claimed that Oleksandr Usyk has a long way to go for his legacy to be comparable to Lennox Lewis’s or even Wladimir Klitschko’s…

Usyk Must Beat Joshua AGAIN to Cement Legacy
Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury to become undisputed heavyweight champion but Audley Harrison thinks he still hasn’t done enough to be mentioned in the conversation for the greatest of all time;
Audley Harrison: “I don’t think [beating Fury] cements [Usyk] in that conversation. But the reasons why? It’s about longevity. Lennox Lewis had longevity. Even Wladimir Klitschko had longevity. How many defences of his undisputed title did Lennox have? It’s not about getting it, it’s about how long you can hold on to it. He’s beaten AJ, now he’s beaten Fury. Of the current crop, he’s the best of his generation. Usyk is amazing and he’s become the best of his generation but now he has to go out there and create a legacy. He’s going to have to fight Joshua again, and go through and beat everybody out there.”
‘Numbnuts’ Have Got Olympic Boxing in DISARRAY
Harrison became a household name almost overnight thanks to his success at the Sydney Olympics but he issued a worrying statement on the current state of amateur boxing at the top level…
Audley Harrison: “Olympic Boxing is in disarray. There’s a big problem between the IBA and the new governing bodies. Boxing has been in the Olympics since the beginning of time and if it goes out, it’s never going to come back. What these numbnuts need to realise is that’s where we’re at right now. Look at Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn working together for the better of the sport. They’re not bigger than the sport, so they put their egos aside and we’ve seen the benefit of that. That’s what needs to happen with Olympic Boxing, otherwise it will be out of it.”
I’m Confident Delicious Orie Will Win Gold for Team GB
Delicious Orie is a big medal prospect for Team GB at the Paris Olympics and Harrison is hopeful that the Moscow-born super-heavyweight can deliver a gold medal, just like he did 24 years ago…
Audley Harrison: “From a boxing point of view with Orie, I want to catch up with him and talk about him as the next big thing. I’m so excited about him. I’m really looking for him to go there [Paris Olympics] and get that gold medal. It’s a lot of pressure on him, like me, now you’ve had Joshua, like Frazer (Clarke), all these people coming through and getting medals. What people need to realise is that before my gold medal, Team GB hadn’t won a gold medal for 32 years!”
