Danny Murphy Exclusive: TAA should start in midfield against Denmark

In an exclusive interview with FastestPayoutOnlineCasino.com, ex-England midfielder Danny Murphy defends Trent Alexander-Arnold from Roy Keane’s brutal criticism of performance against Serbia.
- England’s ‘most creative’ player Alexander-Arnold defended from Keane criticism
- ‘Perfect’ Ollie Watkins should start ahead of Kane against Denmark
- Next England manager should be Eddie Howe – Unless Pep wants the job
BBC pundit defends Trent against ITV Roy Keane’s scathing Sunday night criticism
Danny Murphy: “Teams like Denmark are going to bank up and have many men behind the ball and Trent is our most creative midfielder.
“I think Southgate is going to start Trent {against Denmark}.
“He’s the one who can see a pass from anywhere. He can open up a defence. He can cross it better than anyone. That’s in his armoury and his passing variation is better than anyone else’s.”
Watkins could unpick the Denmark defence better than Kane – says Danny Murphy
Danny Murphy: “If you’re playing a team of decent quality who’s coming to press you and play a high line like Denmark, then Watkins couldn’t be more perfect.
“I think at the moment you’d say that style is Ollie Watkins {over Kane}, based on his form and the speed that he has in terms of getting behind defenders.
‘Standout Candidate’ Eddie Howe Backed as Next England Boss
Speculation about Gareth Southgate’s future as England manager is always a topic of conversation and Murphy threw Eddie Howe’s name into the ring when asked who he would like to see in the role next;
Danny Murphy: “I like to think that we’ve got enough good coaches to have an English coach, although it’s not the be all and end all. I do think that’s the way to go, unless, of course, for some unknown reason, Jurgen Klopp or Pep Guardiola want to manage England. Eddie Howe is the real standout candidate for me. Brilliant with the press, intelligent manager, can play different ways and done a really good job at Newcastle. He would probably be my choice if we went English.”
