With the football season entering its final stages, Fastest Payout Online Casino’s have taken a look at the biggest transfer value changes and who has seen their stock rise or drop.
Top 10 Market Value Decreases
When looking at the biggest transfer value decrease this season, it makes for grim viewing if yout a Manchester United fan – as Antony, Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount are all in the top 10.
The most notable decrease comes from the Brazilian winger, dropping by €32m over the course of this season. Antony has endured a difficult campaign so far, dealing with off the field issues and failing to score a single goal in 25 Premier League appearances.
Contributing to four goals in 34 appearances (all competitions), the 24-year-old has faced huge scrutiny from supporters and has lost his place in the team. The lack of impact has been hyper focused, as the Red Devils spent €95m to bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford from Ajax in the 2022 summer window.
In 78 appearances for United, Antony has scored 10 goals and contributed with five assists – failing to find form in Manchester.
England Players Market Value Decreases
Marcus Rashford drops by €20m due to a poor season so far. The Englishman was coming off the best season of his career, scoring 30 goals in all competitions last year. However, the 27-year-old has scored just eight goals in 40 appearances (all competitions) and has not scored in his last four league matches.
Also, Mason Mount’s transfer value has plummeted this season, missing 20 Premier League matches through injury and playing just 673 minutes so far.
Barcelona Market Value Decreases
Another club who have seen a decrease in key players’ value is Barcelona, as Pedri and Joao Felix have both dropped by €20m. The Portuguese international is on loan from Atletico Madrid and has contributed to 10 goals in 25 La Liga matches (7G+3A).
Barcelona are considering the opportunity to sign Felix on a permanent basis, however, nothing has been confirmed yet. Pedri has also struggled this season, missing 19 matches through injury in all competitions and has not played 90 minutes since December 2023.
Other Market Value Decreases
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has also seen a decrease in transfer value, losing his place in the Tottenham side and is expected to leave in the upcoming transfer window.
Bundesliga duo, Joshua Kimmich and Sebastian Haller, have also dropped in value – as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were beaten to the league title by Bayer Leverkusen.
Top 10 Market Value Increases
Barcelona starlet, Lamal Yamine, has taken the world by storm with his performances during the 2023/24 season, becoming a regular member of Xavi’s starting eleven at just 16-years-old. Making 44 appearances in all competitions so far, the Spaniard has become one of the hottest prospects in Europe – even earning an international call up in September 2023.The Barcelona winger has contributed to 14 goals in all competitions (6G+8A) and has seen a transfer value increase of €50 million. During Barcelona’s Champions League quarter final fixtures against PSG, Yamine was deemed one of the best players on the pitch – despite sharing the pitch with Kylian Mbappe.
England Players Market Value Increases
Another player who has seen a huge increase in transfer value is Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, who joined the blues from Manchester City last summer. Contributing to 38 goals in all competitions (25G+13A), the 21-year-old is in the running for not just the young player of the season, but also the illustrious PFA player of the season.
Two of Palmer’s goals this season came in a Manchester City shirt, scoring in the season opening Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup. Gareth Southgate has clearly been impressed by the Englishman’s performances this season, handing Palmer his first international cap in November 2023.
As of GW34, Palmer is tied with Erling Haaland as the Premier League’s top scorer after scoring 20 goals – including a four goal performance against Everton. All of these achievements this season have impacted Palmer’s stock greatly, increasing his transfer value by €40m.
Palmer is not the only English youngster to have a breakout season, as Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo continues to impress at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag was keen to implement the teenager at the beginning this season, however, the 19-year-old suffered a major injury that kept him out for the opening 12 Premier League matches.
However, since returning from injury, Mainoo has started the last 17 league matches and is now one of United’s most important players.
The academy graduate also impressed the England manager with his consistent displays, earning his first cap in March this year. Southgate opted to hand Mainoo his first start in England’s 2-2 draw with Belgium and the Man United star was awarded with the man of the match award.
